Keven Daken, from Oxford, Nova Scotia, has always connected deeply with music. He received his first guitar at age five and began taking music seriously at 14. Balancing a love for sports, he eventually transitioned into performing publicly at 17 and joined a Karaoke show at 18, touring Southern New Brunswick and Northern Nova Scotia.
In his early twenties, Keven played in bands in Halifax and then he and his family moved to London, Ontario, to pursue music more seriously. Keven's songwriting skills led to his first professional cut, "Bottom of the Ninth," performed by John Landry. Keven has had several other songs recorded by other prominent Canadian Artists.
In 2008, Keven released his first single "Didn't We”.. Shortly after the release, life took Keven away from music for a period of time. In 2021, he returned, co-writing songs for Jolene Harnish.
In 2023, Daken reintroduced himself to the music scene and is not holding back! He already achieved national recognition with his single "Living Inside of Lonely." The song reached the top 10 on the Canadian Indie Countdown and has garnered over 115,000 Spotify streams. It was also nominated Country Recording of the Year at Nova Scotia Music Week 2023..
Keven continued his musical journey with exciting performances, including a showcase at the Canadian Country Music Awards 2023 in Hamilton, ON.
